Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. She spent most of her early years listening to classical music, boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs, as well old classical pieces. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. She began singing and learning music with her mother, she began her more intensive singing training at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. When she moved from Mexico to America around 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of classical Latin American music at private events. She is involved with many local projects and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her love of music and art. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
